Scissors are suitable for shortening both cotton and wooden wicks.

Hook or candle differ - intended for straightening cotton wicks and removing decorative or unwanted elements (for example, burnt wick residues and various other impurities) from candles.

Candle snuffer - lamp cap that extinguishes the candle flame. It is enough to hold the damper over the burning wick for a few seconds to extinguish the candle without excessive smoke. Using a flame retardant can prevent damage to the candle caused by hot wax blowing out the candle with your mouth.
